RE: Extending the LDAP schema ~John Quetkropulynds 28.Jan.03 01:18 AM a Web browser General 6.0All Platforms
Hi,
thanks a lot for the answer. It works.
I tried it both way (through design of DomDir and schema.nsf-documents) but did not think of a combination. ARGH :-)))
However I found one small problem if I:
1) Create some attributes with proper syntax types in the schema.nsf and put them into an auxiliary object.
2) Create a Subform in the $PersonExtensibleSchema WITHOUT any fields.
If I reload now the schmema everything seems OK.
If I add some fields into the subform with the same names as the attributes (to be able to edit them from Notes) and reload the schema again, then according to the schema.nsf everything is still OK (no duplicate attibute docs were created)
However if I look at the data through a LDAP-browser I find that my attributes dont have the proper syntax anymore but have reversed back to the standard-notes syntaxes.
